acting academy
CastleCo Acting Academy features weekly, year-round classes where participants will be instructed in a vast range of acting (and acting related) disciplines, that are tailored to participants' ages and experience levels. Students will be added on a first-come, first-served basis and fees will be automatically drawn at the start of each month. Acting Academy classes will have limited spots available; 14 students per class (grades K-6), 10 students per class (grades 7-12). Students will hold their spot for as long as they desire to continue in the class.
All Acting Academy courses will be led by CCT's Stage Director Rachel Eubanks. Participants in grades 3-12 may also have the opportunity to work with guest instructors throughout the year. Guest instruction will be tailored to age/experience level and may include instruction in areas such as; voice, dance/movement, dialect, stage combat, puppetry, stage intimacy, and more.

Learning to mark dialogue and scripts to enhance ability to rehearse, and to dive deeper into character creation that captivates audiences and evokes emotion

Exploring advanced silent acting elements through reactions and movements that help actors "become" their character, increasing believability form the audience

Building the ability to time stage movements to music, underscoring, and scene cadence
